MHAMMED EL ALAMI, ERICSSON & EGGSTA PRESENT THEIR NEW SINGLE “EMOTION”

Mhammed El Alami, a Trance and Progressive producer from Morocco, has been active in the music scene for the last decade. Signed to labels like Armada, FSOE, Black Hole Recordings, Suanda, and Coldharbour, he’s known for his diverse style. While he dabbles in a deep and progressive trance, he particularly enjoys crafting uplifting sounds the most. 5 years ago Mhammed teamed up with Chris Stebbins and created SMR LVE duo project with the idea of blending house and trance music. Collaborating with vocalists like Christina Novelli, Jennifer Rene, Sue McLaren, and Roxanne Emery, their music gained traction, with many tracks earning acclaim on Armin van Buuren’s “A State of Trance” radio show which is also the case with Mhammed only. “To The Stars” was their debut album that topped the Beatport Trance Charts, and their singles are still going strong on Spotify.

When it comes to collaborations, Mhammed’s name frequently appears on streaming platforms alongside DJ/Producer EGGSTA, also known as Eden Michelle. This talented girl consistently brings her recognized style into every project she undertakes. Starting as a classical pianist at age 6, she co-released her first Pop/Rock album “Broken Truth” with producer Jon Buckley. Signed to Sony Music Publishing, she penned hits for global artists and featured on national and international TV series. EGGSTA’s debut single “You & I,” released in September 2018, marked a significant milestone in commercial dance music, thanks to her emotive vocals and heartfelt lyrics she created.

Another name that happens to be crucial here is Ericsson, a master of dance music’s diverse sounds, delivering tunes across progressive, future, and tech house genres. Inspired by top producers like Nicky Romero and Martin Garrix, he’s garnered over one million streams on Spotify and gained support from industry legends like Oliver Heldens and Timmy Trumpet.

The collaboration between these 3 just happened and it is called “Emotion“. It all began when Ericsson shared a chill demo with EGGSTA that she instantly loved. Inspired by the theme of a relationship that fell apart, Eden wrote the lyrics reflecting the feeling after someone walks away, being left in an ‘ocean of emotion’. Soon after EGGSTA and Ericsson teamed up with Mhammed, who infused the track with his signature progressive trance elements, adding a touch of old-school vibes to the warm vocals. Despite being on three different continents, they completed the track through shared ideas on a WhatsApp group, showcasing the power of global collaboration.
