BiXX launches EuphoriXX, a new label pushing beyond the conventions of uplifting trance

The US trance producer begins a new chapter with an uplifting new single and an imprint created to push beyond some of the genre’s established conventions.

Trance producer BiXX launches his new label EuphoriXX with ‘Movement’, a new single that brings the personal and emotional themes running through his music into the foundations of a wider project.

Following his 2025 debut album The Voice of Reason, ‘Movement’ continues BiXX’s exploration of resilience, change and the experiences that shape us. Its central idea is simple: progress rarely happens in a straight line, and moving forward does not necessarily mean leaving the past behind.

For BiXX, real name Bob, the track grew from periods in his own life when familiar paths no longer seemed to fit and the future remained uncertain. ‘Movement’ focuses on what happens next: taking another step and allowing experience to become a source of strength.

That thinking also provides the starting point for EuphoriXX. Built around the principles Inspire. Empower. Elevate., the new imprint gives BiXX an independent home for a more expansive approach to uplifting trance, pushing beyond some of the conventions that can determine what fits within the genre.

That means making room for longer breakdowns, more pronounced emotional peaks and tracks that work as complete listening experiences as much as they do on a dancefloor. EuphoriXX will also encourage producers to look beyond trance, drawing on sounds, instrumentation and ideas from other genres and musical traditions.

The label follows BiXX’s 17-track debut album The Voice of Reason, which explored connection, loss and resilience through the melodic trance sound he has developed over recent years. Influenced by Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Solarstone and Paul Oakenfold, his music combines expansive arrangements and vocal-led songwriting with a strong emphasis on emotional storytelling.

The accompanying ‘Movement’ artwork extends the track’s concept. A figure representing BiXX follows an uneven stone path towards an illuminated XX emblem, with trails of cyan and violet behind him representing memories and experiences carried forward. The XX marks both the destination and the beginning of EuphoriXX itself.

“Movement is about understanding that every experience leaves something with us,” says BiXX. “Some bring joy and confidence, while others ask us to rebuild. I wanted the track to capture that point where emotion becomes the reason to take another step, even when you don’t know exactly where the path is leading.”

With ‘Movement’, EuphoriXX begins with a desire to widen the possibilities of uplifting trance rather than define another narrow version of what it should sound like. Underpinning it is a belief that has become increasingly important to BiXX: “It’s never too late to reinvent yourself.”

“I want EuphoriXX to be somewhere artists can explore new ideas without worrying that a breakdown is too long, a track is too uplifting or something doesn’t fit neatly into a particular box,” he adds. “Uplifting trance should be able to keep evolving. If the music creates that emotional connection, I want there to be space for it.”

BiXX – ‘Movement’ is the first release on EuphoriXX, out 30 October
